Awindra Pratap Pandey Wiki (Nirbhaya’s Boyfriend) Age, Bio, Family

There is no much information available about his father, mother & his siblings. Pratap was brought up by his parents in Delhi.

 

Nirbhaya’s real name is Jyoti Singh. Awindra and Nirbhaya were in a relationship when the gruesome incident happened. The relationship status of Pandey is not known. There are many allegations against him for demanding a fee to give an interview to the media (news channel).

 

He was in news in the news when he told that the Netflix series “Delhi Crime” lacks some key factor and is not displaying the real image of the incident.

Pandey also got blamed by the Journalist Ajit Anjum for charging money to get interviewed.

Nirbhaya Rape Case, Accuser & the Incident

In the year 2012, the date was 16 December. A girl named Jyoti Singh was on her way home with her boyfriend Awindra Pratap Pandey after watching the movie. On the way, they boarded a white bus.

The bus had five passengers in it. On the way, the bus driver stopped the bus and the men on the bus including the bus driver started beating Awinder badly & after that, they raped the girl. They inserted the rod in her private parts. After this, they threw both the girl and the boy on the road.

But she was not recovering so it was decided to take her to Singapore for further treatment. On the way to Singapore, she suffered cardiac arrest on the flight. On December 29, 2012, she was declared dead.

Suspects

The suspects include Ram Singh (the bus driver), Mukesh Singh, Vinay Sharma, Pawan Gupta, Akshay Thakur, and a minor (17 years old).

 

According to him, the man is charging money from the news channels for the interview. Anjum explained that first when he came to hear about this then he thought it might be a rumor.

But after this he decided to check the truth, so he asked one of his reporters to bring him for the interview for which his uncle demanded 100,000 INR and the deal settled for 70,000 INR. When Anjum came to know about this he decided to do a sting operation in which he wanted to make a video of Pandey accepting the money.

He is a person with a fair height of 5 feet 6 inches (5’6”) & has a weight of approximately 60 KG (132.2lbs). Awindra is a software engineer and wears Pant & shirt whenever been on interviews.

He has a semi bald head with black hair and black eyes. With fair skin tone, he maintains the look of a common man.

 

Pandey is working in an IT company in Bangalore, India.On the night of the incident, he and her friend were coming home after watching the movie “The Life of Pie”.According to him the Netflix series “Delhi Crimes” does not describe the true and real image of the incident.Before the happening of the incident, Jyoti gave him a ring.Awindra Pratap Pandey is originally from Gorakhpur.
